This young lady’s from a story that’s been knocking around in my head for a while. I figure she’s from a planet originally colonized by South Indian corporations, but maybe their connection to the rest of the galaxy has been nil for several hundred years and people are living some kind of agrarian low-tech lifestyle.
This guy was the result of a rather silly assignment to take a character from the He-Man universe and put them in another environment. My choice: Beastman. I figured maybe he was an ethically-grey-area troublemaker working with an anarchist organization dedicated to the open-sourcing of the worlds’ genetic libraries. Maybe not as Beastman as he could have been, but fun to draw anyway.
Beast’s sweet ride:
Oh hey, I’m back y’all. I just completed a six-week project for school, creating characters, props, and environments. So much drawing, I had to bandage my fingers! I’ll be posting some excerpts here over the next several days, so stay tuned.
Also, the text descriptions accompanying these were written in the eleventh hour, by which I mean 2AM last night after three straight days of nothing but sitting at home drawing, which is to say that they’re not all very good so cut me some slack if you will.
PS Here’s a detail shot of her inappropriately ornate knife:

This was a project for school. Our assignment was to create a monster based on the theme of “old time perversion”. I’m generally not a huge fan of the ole “sexy ladies who entice hapless men only to feast on their blood/brains/life force” concept, but it seemed like the best fit for the job this time.
The reference photo I took of myself for this pose would make for primo blackmail material, by the way.
